A small-town bakery, breakfast counter and coffee shop two blocks from Gustavus. Rolls, pastries and cookies out of the oven each morning, sandwiches and salads at noon, and a drink menu that goes well past a plain cup of coffee.
The bakery case changes daily. These are the ones regulars plan their morning around.
Our Friday tradition. Baked before the doors open and usually gone well before noon — call ahead if you want a pan set aside.
House chicken salad on cranberry wild rice bread baked here. Our most-ordered item, year after year.
Monster, chocolate chip, peanut butter and more — baked big and hard to eat just one.
Alongside the espresso bar there's a full board of flavored sodas, Lotus energy drinks and frozen blends — built to order, and well over thirty combinations. Most people end up with one they order by name.
There's parking right out front, and the door is two blocks from campus. Walk in and the case is straight ahead.
